SALAD FRUIT CHANTILLY

(Mixed fruit salad with sugar syrup topped with cream)

INGREDIENTS:

For sugar syrup:

•Sugar : 200 gm

•Water : 200 ml

•Khukuri Rum : 15ml

•Lemon Juice : 1/2lemon

Seasonal Fruits:

  • Apple : 100 gm
  • Papaya : 100gm
  • Banana : 3nos
  • Red cherry : 100gm
  • Grapes : 100gm
  • Pineapple : 100gm
  • Dragon fruits : 50gm
  • Kiwi : 50 gm

Cream Chantilly

  • Fresh cream : 100ml
  • Icing sugar : 25gm
  • Vanilla essence : few drops

METHOD OF PREPARATIONS:



•Take a sauce pan, add water and sugar, place it on fire, boil and strain through muslin cloth.

•Cool Syrup and add lemon juice and rum for flavour .

•Wash, peel and cuts fruits in a regular shape and deep in the sugar syrup.

•Put the fruit salad in desert bowl with fruits and sugar Syrup.

•The frult must be half covered by sugar syrup.

• Prepare cream chantilly with the help of whipped cream, icing sugar and vanilla essence.

•Place the chantilly cream in piping bag and decorate fruit salad with chantilly and red cherry on top.

•Serve it with under-liners and tea spoon.
