KALAKAND

Kalakand is a popular Indian sweet made with milk, sugar and a few flavorings. My three ingredient, super fast recipe for Kalakand (a.k.a. Indian Milk Cake)

INGREDIENTS

  • Milk : 1500ml
  • Vinegar : 10ml
  • Milk : 500ml
  • Sugar : 50gm
  • Pistachio : 100gm

METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • In a pot heat the milk.
  • Once boiled add vinegar to prepare chenna from it.
  • Wash and rub the extracted chenna.
  • Again boil the milk (500ml) into pot.
  • Add rubbed chenna into it. Stir it properly
  • Add sugar again and stir it until the amount get reduced.
  • Prepare the mould with butter paper and add the prepared KALAKAND.
  • Add the chopped pistachio on top and cover it.
  • Then add it into freezer to get it set in proper texture.
