SIKARNI

Whipped creamy curd flavoured with cinnamon and topped with cashew nuts

INGREDIENTS

  • Curd : 1 ltr
  • Sugar syrup : 100ml
  • Fresh cream : 100ml
  • Cashewnuts : garnish
  • Saffron: garnish
  • Mix spices: pinch of spices
    • Cinnamon powder, black pepper, cardamom, cloves

METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Hung the curd in the muslin cloth to remove the excess water from the curd
  • Prepare sugar syrup, whisk fresh cream.
  • Once the water is removed from the curd place it in a mixing bowl and whisk it.
  • Add sugar syrup , whipped fresh cream in the curd and mix them properly.
  • Add mix spices powder for flavor.
  • Now sikarni is ready to serve.
  • Rim the serving glass with mix spices.
  • In a serving glass, add sikarni and garnish with roasted cashewnuts on its top with saffron thread.
