
A small ring of sweet leavened dough that has been fried or sometimes baked.
INGREDIENTS
- Flour : 600gm
- Dry Yeast : 10gm
- Sugar : 40gm
- Salt : 5gm
- Butter : 25gm
- Gluten : 5gm
- Improver : 5gm
- Milk powder : 5gm
- Egg : 1nos
- Warm Water : as required
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- In a mixing bowl add flour, dry yeast, sugar, salt ,butter, gluten, bread improver,milk powder,egg and mix it well.
- Pour the warm water and make a dough.
- Knead the dough until it becomes smooth in texture.
- Cover it with a muslin cloth and leave it for proving.
- After its size get double, make the doughnut balls of about 80gm.
- Give the shape of doughnut with cutter and again leave it for proving.
- In a mean time , heat the oil in a pan, once heated deep fry the doughnut and cook it turning on moth side until it turns to golden brown color.
- For garnishing dip it in a chocolate sauce and sprinkle some sprinkles on top.
