
Cake made with candied or dried fruit, nuts, and spices, and optionally soaked in spirits.
INGREDIENTS
- Butter : 125gm
- Icing sugar : 125gm
- Eggs : 4nos
- Mix peel : 100gm
- Raisin : 100gm
- Glace cherry : 50gm
- Cashew nuts : 50gm
- Baking powder : 1/2tsp
- Mix spices : a pinch
- Flour : 200gm
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- In a mixing bowl add butters and icing sugar.
- Whisk them properly until it gets proper bater like creamy texture.
- Add eggs into mixture one by one and whisk it .
- Add flour in the mixture, whisk it properly.
- Add baking powder and mix spices into it.
- Cut the mix peel , raisin, glace cherry, and cashew nuts into small brunoise cut or small size cut and mix them into bater.
- Prepare the mould with butter paper and glaze it with oil.
- Bake it in oven at 200°C – 220°C for more than 50 minutes and then check the texture and leave it in chilling tray to maintain the temperature.
