
INGREDIENTS
- Carrot – 1 kg
- Milk – 500 ml
- Sugar – 100 gm
- Khuwa – 100 gm
- Ghee – 100 gm
- Cashew nuts – 40 gm
- Raisin – 40 gm
- Gund – 20 gm
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- First of all wash, peel, and grate the carrot.
- Boil the milk.
- Then add the grated carrot in milk , let it cook in slow heat.
- Add the sugar when milk and carrot get reduced.
- Knead the khuwa separately.
- In a frying pan , add ghee to get heated.
- Add gund to get fried properly.
- Fry cashew nuts and raisins separately.
- Then in a same pan of ghee, add khuwa to get cooked.
- Then add it into the cooked carrot halwa.
- Serve it hot, garnish with fried cashewnuts, raisin and gund.
