CARROT CAKE

Carrot flavored fudge cake.

INGREDIENTS

  • Butter : 250gm
  • Icing sugar : 200gm
  • Egg : 4nos
  • Flour : 300gm
  • Grated carrots : 200gm
  • Milk powder : 100gm
  • Lemon juice : few drops
  • Cinnamon powder : 1tsp
  • Baking powder : 5gm
  • Nutmeg powder: a pinch

METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • First of all, with the creaming method, mix butter and icing sugar.
  • Mix it properly until the proper creamy texture formed
  • Then add egg into it; one egg at a time then mix them properly. Then add lemon juice.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, add flour, milk powder, cinnamon powder, baking powder, nutmeg powder.
  • Then add it into mixture of cremed texture mixture of butter ,icing sugar and egg.
  • After this, add grated carrots in mixture.
  • In a mould add butter paper, glaze it and add carrot cake mixture.
  • Bake it for 35-40 minutes at (180-200)°C.

Per portion: 75gm.
