COCONUT STICKY RICE

Sticky rice which is cooked in coconut milk

INGREDIENTS

  • Milk : 1ltr
  • Sticky rice : 100gm
  • Sugar : 100gm
  • Coconut milk : 200ml
  • Cashew nuts: 50gm
  • Fresh grated coconut: 1 whole coconut
  • Glace cherry: to garnish
  • Mango : to garnish

METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • First of all, heat up the milk and let it get boiled.
  • Stir it properly, let it get reduced (20%)
  • Then add properly washed rice into it.
  • Stir it properly , let it get cooked
  • When the milk is thicken and reduced, add sugar and coconut milk into it.
  • Side by side, chop cashewnuts, fresh grated coconut , cherry .
  • Once the rice and milk is cooked, let it get cooled
  • Add small portion of coconut sticky rice in serving dessert bowl and garnish it with cashew nuts, grated coconut and glaced cherry, along with season fruits.
